Room 1 decided to raise money for the World Vision 20 Hour Famine. We all gave a donation of $3.00 or more. Mrs Hawker donated the rice and we ate it for morning tea and lunch.We had to measure out the rice and then add the water.It made us realise what it would be like to only eat rice. We were lucky we were allowed to wash our plates in warm soapy water between meals, some children would not be able to do that. We raised over $90.00 for World Vision.
