Chocolate Crackle Cakes

In term one we made chocolate crackles.

Ingredients:
250g vegetable shortening,
100g icing sugar,
25g cocoa,
100g rice bubbles,
100g coconut.
Method
First we put vegetable shortening in a saucepan.Then we put it over a low heat element until melted. Then we had to sift icing sugar and cocoa together.After that we added the sifted ingredients. We stirred the mixture well.Then spooned the mixture into paper patty cases abd chilled until firm.
They tasted really nice!! Try making them yourself.

Walk and Wheel Week

In Term 1 the school did a competition called Walk and Wheel Week.
The aim was to get most of the children that go to Macandrew Bay School to walk, bike, scooter etc to school.
First prize was $800 worth of school sports equipment second prize was $150 worth of sports equipment.
Our school got second equal with another school!
So we got $150 worth of sports equipment!
We were very excited.
