"Have A Go Sailing Day"






On Friday the sixth of March 2009 24 Year 5 and 6 kids had a go sailing at the Macandrew Bay boating club. Candese the boating instructor showed us how to sail.
We enjoyed capsizing the boats it was really windy when we were sailing.We all got certificate at the end and had a nice lunch.

    Wow, the sailing day looks amazing! Righting the boat when it has capsized is a very important skill to learn. What fun! James Higham

    Finns Grandad used to sail in Firefly & Swordfish class dingies on Hornsea Mere, Yorks. England.
